Way back on 2009, when he was working as a key person in the core team that was managing the vision and action of the 12 channels News Network of Eenadu Television (ETV), at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, Mr. Nilambar wanted to come back to Odisha and start a new age media and communication company. His dream came true in 2011 December as he co-founded ‘OdishaLIVE’ and joined the emerging national trend among the first generation digital media entrepreneurs.

Instead of limiting his vision to the digital media content creation in the form of text news, Nilambar ventured into videos exploring the world of web and social channels, especially in a land like Odisha where digital was a word which was not known to many among the masses. However, in the journey, OdishaLIVE soon became a known platform to the Odia diaspora for capturing full HD quality videos with a focus on promoting the rich art, culture and traditions of Odisha. Today, the digital platform of OdishaLIVE, having its popular YouTube verified channel with 3 lakh plus subscribers and a leading News Portal, which is empanelled by Govt. of Odisha as Category-A web media serves news and entertainment content in the form of both text and videos reaching out to thousands of local and global audience, every day.

The text and video content of OdishaLIVE is also reaching out to a large audience base globally through its popular mobile content partner – ‘Dailyhunt’.

In the two and half decade long media career Mr Nilambar has travelled through the news world from Print to Television media and currently pursuing his passion in exploring the taste of digital media.
